not all do, but it also depends on where you put it.. you can use a little transelucent powder on it to dull the shine..

i hastily purchased some  no name doulble sided toupee tape from the BSS just so i could slap my wig on to see what i looked like with it on. it wasn't an actual application i just wanted to see what was what. lawd have mercy!!! this is some shiny a$$ tape. i was contemplating using tapes instead of ashesives but if it's going to be shining like this...hell to the naw!...child please! do all tapes shine like the sun???
