hey everyone i am fixing to move off to go to college and was wondering if anyone knew of a style that would easy to manage but still trendy. I am 18 and my hair is rather short, I have the sides trimmed on a one, and the top is about 1-2 inches long. I have been combing it forward and spiking the front up ( you know same old guy style) my hair is brown with blond h/ls and is rather fine, I have tried the messy look and love it, but my hair just falls flat when i am done styling it. (plus i really dont know how to achieve the look that good) I want something that is quick and easy, so i dont have to spend forever getting ready in the morning. Sleep is good..especailly in college

Thank you

i might be a little late with this, but you could try the bed head products; those are supposed to be really good for achieving the particular style that you want.

Well my hair is 8 inches long, but i do messy hairstyle and its fairly easy for me to do it, all i do is just take a lil` bit of gel and rub it in my hands and pull my hair up and just lay it down and then just take my hand and scruff it up in a zig-zag motion...it might be easier for me to do it though cuz my hair is natural curly and doing it thatt way looks better when curled.

for the look which you really like it shouldn`t take so long...i have a friend who has that style and he has had it for so long that it actually grows like that...but to do it he just takes a lil` bit of protek in b/w his index and thumb and just takes the hair strand and just pull up, and just do it in random places....

if your worried about it laying flat trustme w/ protek it will not fall flat that quickly....we have succesfully spiked my hair when it was 6 inches w/ the stuff and it lasted for about 4 hours through windows down going mph
