Do people routinely have these "pre perm" treatments to "even out the porosity" of the hair? I`m planning on getting a fairly tight perm and I couldn`t help wondering if my hair would tolerate it better after one of these treatments, or is the treatment to ensure "even" curls. Is there anything I can be doing with my hair in terms of conditioning treatments over the next month and a half while I grow it a bit more? Thanks, Bob
