this is great, i think if its something that interest you, you should check it out.. my daughter in law is japanese altho while i was there i didn't see them doing that..LOL but it looks kind of like a very interesting job, think of the tips..

i think its legit and you can pay off your debt (i have student loans out the wazoo and trying to figure out how to pay them quickly)

Fugee: as a reporter, my first inclination would be just to call up a Sushi restaurant (LOCAL) where they have those kinds of models & ask if they have any info. on how to become a model. You could also ask if they could put you in touch with a model directly. Then you could ask the girl questions and take the step to doing it yourself. Go for it!!!!Smile

Meanwhile, the actual job search is tough.  Nyotaimori is too legit for the adult classifieds (and that's a good sign), but too wild for the help wanted: boring mill operator section.  The temptation to email the Kilpatrick administration is overwhelming (you know they've got to know something about this!). 
 
I'll let you know what I find out.

^ Awesome video!  The presentation of the sushi is just gorgeous, and I didn't see anyone try to get frisky with her ('cause if anyone tried that with me, the career as a sushi platter would have to end).

LOL! We could even go into business together and start an agency for runway models who are a little on the short side, or a strip club called "shorties".

ok i've modeled b4 but wow this is deep girl, i ain't never had nobody eat off me like a table.. girl your a wild girl we ought to get together and hang out sometimes i bet your a lot of fun..LOL usually my modeling was in the studio and a little runway but i'm much to short to have made that the majority of my modeling experience.. but that's deep let me read up on it some more..

I'm posting this here 'cause I know our LF divas are some of the most beautiful, resourceful girls in the world and that some of you have worked in modeling / entertainment professions full time or on the side.
 
OK.  I just learned about nyotaimori and am mildly obsessed. My true calling: system admin by day, sushi model by night.Heart
 
Nyotaimori is just risque enough to be fun and grown and sexy, but you wouldn't get in trouble for it if your boss / co-workers / Irish Catholic parents / Hindu godparents / potential voter base / personal god found out. 
 
So here's my question: How do those girls find these jobs?  I've exhausted my research skills looking for job postings, scoured Craigslist, RealDetroit, Monster.com and the metro times.  Nothing.
 
Anyone who knows anything, please oh please reply to this thread and/or send me a PM! I'm wasting the pretty on  routine software updates as I type ....
