QuoteReplyTopic: Bad Batch of blue liner tape!!!!!!!! Posted: April 07 2008 at 9:26pm
I just opened a pack of some blue liner tape and noticed its not stickin for crap! I noticed the blue peeling was lighter that I normaly get. Ive had my wig applied for 3 min now and the lace is liftin off the top of the tape and the bottom of the tape is liftin off my skin!!!!!!!!!
Thats a shame! Yes. I use Blue Liner tape, and all I've ever purchased most definitely had blue liner printed on the paper backing. I never had this happen with blue liner tape, but I have used others that looked like they may have been out in the sun too long and melted and then hardened again. They didn't stick worth a damn and I just threw them out
i don't care which type of tape i purchase i don't leave it up to the tape to make sure it sticks, i always brush a little Mr. C's or some adhesive to the sticky side to ensure it sticks to the lace.. so i got it covered b/c in the end both sides of the tape are sticking to an adhesive..

I use http://www.cindycut.com. My friend just gave me a few bags she got from http://forgirlslikeus.com. They seem to work just fine, too. I too, like Sexi sometimes do a combo with ORWG. I use a little in the front so there's no shiny tape showing through the lace, and a little on top of the lace over the ears and at the nape. It gives me that little extra, expecially when the weather gets warmer. I feel for you thought. There's nothing worse than adhesive that wont stick. I start to sweat when I'm applying it because I get angry and that just makes it even harder to get the tape to stick!

I tried that but I just hate the ORWG residue that gets in the lace. Its a pain to clean off!
