Hey guys,

I am on my way out the door and I need to know of a good product to use on my virgin indian remy unit.  Ever since I have had this unit it tangles at the back of my neck, instantly.  I used that silcon shampoo and conditioner for the 1st time the other day and it has made my tangles worse....Can some one suggest anything that I can pick up while I am out?

tressemme smooth and silky is good and start at the ends with a wide tooth comb and untangle by combing.. and take your time is it matted? also it sounds like your cuticles were not aligned to begin with b/c the nape is usually when the tangles begin when its not..

No it's not matted, it's smooth and silky but it just tangles like the devil.  I was reading in you newbie thread and do I need to do a bleach bath?  And if so do I was the unit 1st or just start straight with the bath?

yes if the cuticles are not aligned which it sounds like you can do the bleach bath.. with a straight unit like that it shouldn't take a lot..or you can reduce the time like to 2 min instead of 1 min. and then you should never have a problem again.. but make sure the water is hot, i usually mircowave the water b/c after a few mins. it starts to get luke warm and it doesn't take as well.. or you could take the baking soda i've not done that one. but its not as advasive.. i usually do the bleach bath and its works for me..

ok sexi,  I did a bleach bath last night and deep conditioned the unit and let it air dry.  I applied the unit this morning and I still have a few tangles (not has bad as before).  I spray a little diluted leave in conditioner to see if it would help but I still have some tangles.  The hair on this unit is sooo fine and I know with a lot of white girls who have fine hair it tangles.  I don't want to give up on this unit cause it's my favorite!
