Feria

Does Feria leave your hair dry and straw like? I have Feria but I have not used it yet. I heard bad reviews about it.
It`s mostly about the color coming out wrong. I`m not trying to go light, I have very dark brown hair and I purchased the darkest brown/black color with slightly reddish highlights. I`m concern with dry straw hair. I`m African American with all natural curly below shoulder length hair when press straight. I usually use a semi-permanant Loreal Casting. I wash my hair alot so the color fades too fast. I want to try a permanant color. My hair is very healthy right now and I like to keep it that way. If Feria is not good than any suggestions.
