This is a powder dye that is made to cover gray hair. It is safe and does not contain ammonia or hydrogen peroxide.CVS sells it and it comes in 6 different shades. it cost $4.99. Do a patch test and try it. Maybe it will be of some help to you. This product will only darken the hair color (by depositing color) it does not lift color.

sometimes the donor's have gray hairs, and when they use that clothing dye to color the hair the gray doesn't color and it comes out blue or greenish.. gray hair is always harder to color than non gray hair..
if you have that many then you may want to make him aware of the issue. i didn't understand it was so many. i had maybe 3 or 4. anything more than that is definitely an issue.
Blue like sky blue. Like "you wouldn't naturally grow outta my head and your husband says why is the blue strands of hair in your wig" kind of blue.
One or two of them, heck even 10 or so I could understand - yes I agree, just pluck 'em and keep moving but the unit that is currently dancing on my head is full of them. I'm driving home and did the Afternoon Rear View Mirror Check - you know, like described in Chapter 3, sub-section 5a in the LF Bible, and don't I see a long blue hair poking from my head?I tell ya, I can't seem to get 'em all!
I'm just glad to know that someone else has experienced this before I contacted him.
wow dont even know what to tell you. I have on a rex right now color 1b and its purrfect. Try to contact him and take pictures before you take any more out and send to him he should try and work it out with you. By the way what stock was it?
Blue... like sky blue or dark blue? I have never heard of that before. Have you contacted him. People are usually VERY satisfied with his product. In fact, I have a Rex that I purchased from a BHM member and I'm extremely satisfied with it. It's also a #1b.
I just spent 45 minutes in the bathroom pulling out strands of BLUE hair out of my Rex 1b stock and I still have'nt got them all. This LF and the one before it are full of these hairs. Outside of having to use a tweezer and a steady hand the unit is perfect. Unfortunately the hairs are so noticeable they have to be removed - one by one.
Has anyone else experienced this with their units?
