My question is why is it not good to place jojoba oil directly to the scalp?

I don't think its that bad.  Most people don't do it because it makes your hair/scalp look oily, but if you wanted to do it, it certainly shouldn't hurt.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have been using jojoba oil with some other essential oils on my scalp for a few years now and when I say the article say not to get the jojoba oil within one inch of the scalp it made me wonder why, I am relieved to know it is not harmful. Thanks
