Hi I am new here. I am curious if anyone can give me tips on DIY hot fusion. I have had the hot fusion done before but never tried myself. I have a basic idea of what I am doing after reading many of the posts but what I am concerned about is stuff like- how to know if your tool is hot enough- about how many do you use in each row -how much natural hair do you use for per extension- do you leave a row of natural hair after every row of extension. Like I said I understand the basic how to install the extension. I had to replace many of my own when I had them installed in the past. I ordered Haha hair online has anyone ever tried it before. I am kind of nervous because after reading the posts I havent seen that anyone has tried that hair before. Any tips at all would be appreciated

I don't think we can say anymore about it than we already have in past posts. The iron will be hot enough to use in about 3-5 minutes. The size of the section and the amount of extension hair added to the section is up to you but should be equal in size. The same goes for amount per row. A lot of this is just personal preference. I leave a row between every row to help hide the fusion but some don't, again personal preference. HTH

Don't be nervous. Remember keratin is easily removed with 100% acetone. I prefer Onyx or Cvs Professional 100% Acetone. One thing that I would suggest is that if you're pre-tipping the hair yourself is to use a hot glue gun as opposed to a hot glue pot. To me the tips made with the gun were stronger and were resilient to oils, conditioner and stuff. To me the pot ones were to flexible and deteriorated easily when it come in contact with conditioner, oils and other types of styling products. If you need help along the way just let us know.
