Hi, I think Bohyme is an excellent choice. I've never worn it, but I know it gets rave reviews (plan to try it soon!).

By the looks of your hair, I think you could either wear #30 French Refined or possibly body wave or even silky straight (waves up when air-dried). I might be off on the colour. See, I prefer the silky straight on my naturally curly hair because I ALWAYS blow out and straighten my hair. Might as well cut the work in half and just put in straight hair. Plus the weight of the extra hair pulls on my natural curls and makes them very close to the silky straight when wet. I don't think curls need to match perfectly though. No one has consistent/perfect curls on their head! You may need to play with it a bit to see what you like. Why not buy two textures and see what you like?

But definitely, the hair is likely to last longer (Bohyme) if its silky straight and not overly processed for waves/curls. HTH!
Love clip-ins and tape!

Hey there,

I like that color in the pic. Very pretty. The only thing I can add is that I wear the Bohyme Color 30 and it is not nearly as red or as dark as your color. There are variations in the Color 30 from different manufacturers and I have found the Bohyme 30 to be the lightest of them all.
I'm not certain but you may be a closer match with Color 33.
Ladies of the forum??? Is that correct?
I have also worn Outre Remi Velvet in Color 30 when I want to be more of a redhead and it is a gorgeous color also. QUite a bit darker and more red than the Bohyme 30.

I would definitely take Krystal's advice on the colour as she knows what she's talking about.

I know what you mean about matching your own damaged hair to the extensions.  I thought this would be a problem for myself, but It's amazing how well you can blend the hair in. You can either use a serum/shine spray on your own hair or you can clarify the extension hair to take off any shine you perceive to be there. My hair is bleached and damaged, but I've never noticed a shine difference between my hair and the fake. I think my hair is getting a bit healthier as well. I think you'll notice when you style the whole thing together (blow dry and flat iron) that it will just all blend. It's not a huge problem.

Hope this helps.

Oh you naughty girl -- you were blowdrying without a heat protectant/shine product??? Tsk tsk!Big%20smileLOL  Oh man, that's the only thing that keep my hair from looking like a bush when I'm done blowdrying! haha. Of course, flat ironing helps a lot for bringing back shine. Yeah, airdrying once in a while help too. Although, I find that airdrying for MY natural curly hair makes it dry and leads to breakage. I find that some heat can be good for the hair if it's used in conjunction with deep conditioners and silicone. So glad I could help in some way!!!Embarrassed

Try a #3 in bohyme.  I love it, it is a really warm reddish brown and matches my brown hair perfectly!!  Love that color!

I have naturally curly hair.  I wore body wave last time and silky straight this time.  Personally I had much more luck with the body wave than the SS.  Matched better and felt better over all.  My natural hair is curly and even when poker straight and shiny has a coarse feel to it.

Good luck!
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.
