Hi Forum,
Are there any salons that focus on extensions only (and cuts) that offer most of the different types of extensions on the market today. I would like to find such a salon here in the USA so that I can get the proper extensions and style for my hair type etc. Thanks for replies.
Tom

Tom, it will depend where you are located of course. I had a devil of a time finding sew in help because I live in a rural area of New England! I hope it won’t be as difficult for you. Internet research helps, Craigslist, and what I did in utter, total desperation is I phoned up Sally Beauty Supply and said does anyone, ANYONE do weaves around here (because they sold weaving hair so maybe they knew) and by god, they had a salon name.

Good luck and remember you will require maintenance so it has to be a drive you are willing to make when that comes due. There is no "set it and forget it" method excluding clip ins.

I think clip ins might be great for you. I think that also because you want to grow out your own hair and have it become long and healthy? Clip ins wont cause damage (as far as I know) because they are only clipped in and then you just kind of camouflage your own hair around/over them and they can look very nice. I’ve seen them look as nice as fusion extensions when people are really good at placing/styling. It’s definitely an option. You will find TONS of great advice on forum about clip ins from people that wear them all the time. Just do a search.
