Confused
I babysit for a AA 3 year old whose hair is shoulder length.  I do her hair for her mom ... (1) because I love doing it and learning to do it and (2) I have more time than mom does!!

Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions on dos or products that will keep the style in for several days...have not found anything that will do it yet.  I usually do twists, use Jam gel on each strand of the twist...and it's usually messed up within a couple of days.

HELP!!!  OH...from what I hear (if you can't tell...I'm Caucasian), she has really "nice" hair...it's soft and, when natural, has tiny little curls that are GORGEOUS!!  (i'd give anything to have her hair versus my thin blonde hair!!)

Anyway, your help will be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to the forum.. The best advice I can give you to get starteds is to begin by reading through the sticky threads at the top of this forum.. There is LOTS of good information there.. There is another thread here that just recently touched on this topic.. I'll see if I can find the link and post it for ya..

speechless Ermm
I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that you didn't MEAN to imply that anyone who does not have hair like this little girl does not have nice hair.. If you are going to learn about AA haircare, the first thing you need to learn is that ALL of our hair is nice. Any implications (or perceived implications) to the contrary will not be taken kindly on ANY forum.. Not just this one..
