And that's what I don't get.  I kept thinking it has to be my bad luck getting BS units from these AV's.  And the worst one gets some of the most praise!  Her units look great, the colors, the cuts are hott enough to get me to purchase three or four over the past year and a half.  And I kept thinking I was doing something wrong.  But it ain't me.  I emailed her after the first time and she said it was my inexperience with curly units.  So I honed my skills and never had a problem with curly units from other vendors.   Which led me to buy two more curly units from her and after less than a months wear, I had to throw them in the trash!

Curly, it is HORRIBLE stuff!  And they list it as French lace so you don't know it's BS until you purchase it!

Lacygirl, I hear you on putting your vendor on blast since she didn't respond to your emails.  Kudos Clap

Yeah I had an issue with one AV (shedding) and it was somone who gets nothing but praise from the boards. Yes I'm going to put her name out there as I have done before CLW......!!!!! yeah I said it again, massive shedding and she refused to respond to my calls or email. I can only speak for myself as this was MY OWN EXPERIENCE.

I know what you mean about that stretchy material that resembles lace but isn't. It stretches waaaaaaayyyy too easy and does not resemble natural scalp at all. I hate that stuff.

However, as far as hair quality goes I only deal with 1 AV anymore. Most of them have the exact same hair quality you can get yourself from a CV. I just got a unit from Breh yesterday though but I haven't tested it out yet. It's all together lovely in terms of the cap construction and hair texture from what I can tell so far.
2Cor 12:8-9
Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness".

Is it just me, or is the quality of units from American Vendors starting to decline?  I have purchased several units over the past few months and they are just a hot mess.  I am not going to name names, but one of the vendors is notorious for advertising beautiful professionally cut and styled units that aren't worth a damn after three or for weeks of wear.  I'm talking major shedding and tangling, and I am a VERY experienced lace wearer.  I've been in the game for several years and know how to treat a unit.   It can't be just me.  Another problem is with the quality of the lace.  Some are using a stretchy material that resembles lace but isn't the real thing.  It is hard as hell to try to conceal it and make it look natural.  I have noticed this trend over the past several months and I am starting to question the integrity of some of these vendors.

And just so you know, I am not referring to any member of this board that sells lace units!  I own several from Bless (love them) and have seen one of Breh's units up close and definitely plan to purchase one from her in the near future (please stock some small units for us peanut heads, Breh!)

Anybody else having this problem, or am I just getting bum units?
