Go to the salon with the good imperssion even if it costs more. I once went to a salon that I was leary about becasue I needed my extensions FAST and it was horrible. I took them out the next day.
You do get what you pay for with extensions usually.
Go for it, I am sure you won't be sorry.
Good luck.

At two different places and glad I did really because the salon I was gonna have my extensions done at really dissapointed me today.
The other salon on the other hand was absolutely faboulous and I have complete faith that they will do a great job when I book in.
The girl at the good salon told me she could put in extensions now for me but advised me to grow an extra inch or so just so they blend in a lot better. She when trough aftercare and maintanance, the two different hair types they can put in, she checked my hair and scalp properly and gave me a rough price but told me to go back in on tuesday after I've had my hair color done so she can price it up more accuratly (I'm in the procces of lightenig up a little).
She made me feel confortable and her own hair was just gorgeous.
The not so good salon girl was polite enough and everything but she didn't seem to know much.
She sat me down, looked at my hair give it a little tug and told me I was indeed suitable for extensions.
She then told me that they had a trainee who would be doing extensions in the next 2 weeks and I would only have to pay for the hair if I choose to go with her.
She quoted me a price if I decided to go for a qualified technician, which was cheeper than the other salon, gave me a leaflet and tried to match my color, I swear it took her ages.
So I'm now gonna wait a couple of month before I have them put in.
Bearing in mind that everything in the UK is expensive does £650 ($1300) for the initial application and the aftercare kit and your first wash and blowdry sound expensive.
She then said that when I need maintanance she would charge me £50 ($100) x hour for labour but I would not have to buy anymore hair as I would have some leftover.
She quoted me for removal too but I will be doing that myself.
