    Posted: June 19 2008 at 10:48pm
i am currently looking for a sexy very long summer install and I've been considering the Bohyme line, due to all the wonderful things Ive heard about it on here. I have worn the Euro Wave from his and her hair goods and have had so many compliments from it but the hair is too big for summer, i want a change (think diana rossesque). I'm wondering if I ordered the silky straight hair if i could achieve this look (the girl on the left)

If you order silky straight -I love this texture- you'll have to use a curlin iron to get this wavy look. Maybe you should try the bodywave texture instead?

Are you wearing this texture in your default, if so I WILL DEFINITELY BUY IT! I was wondering about the silky straight I just dont want a ton of shedding.

Seek out Sherrie's pics.. (a quick search should lead you to some of her install posts) She wear Bohyme silky straight, and achieves a very similar style.. But like Frenchie says, you will need to use curling irons to do it..

Bohyme FR Install
Posted: August 05 2007 at 7:35pm
I havent posted an install here in awhile, in fact I havent seen very many installs posted lately. I just finished up installing this hair. This is about 7 ounces of FR installed with LG. I have worn this hair before for about 6 weeks and its still in excellent condition. And this is the Bohyme SS that I took out last night after 10 weeks...longest tape install Ive ever worn. Hair is still in great shape and I'll save it for another install. View%20Post

Install tricks to help with crown issues
Posted: November 25 2006 at 5:00pm
Heres a few little tricks Ive used to help with the crown area. For any of us with fine hair that sometimes find it harder to hide the wefts/tracks right at the back top of the head Ive found these little tricks help. My hair is fine and my layers arent that long, so the first picture is NO extensions: YIKKKES. You can see the shortest layers. This trick works well if your hair at the top naturally brushes back as you can see in the 2nd picture (please excuse the stupid look, as I was making... View%20Post

Bohyme French Refined Install
Posted: October 30 2006 at 5:29pm
I dont think Ive posted an install here in awhile. I think my install posts get boring because they all LOOK THE SAME....LOL Ive usually always used the Bohyme Silky Straight and Ive used the Bodywave. Between those two textures I prefer the silky straight to the bodywave when wearing this length. SO the French Refined is COMPLETEY new to me. I installed this a week ago, and it took a little getting used to, but Im LOVING it. I miss the silky smoothness of the silky straight, but honestly this... View%20Post

Dlux/Pro-tape install
Posted: August 12 2006 at 2:34pm
I did this install almost a week ago. I used 22 and 18 inch Dlux hair. And the Pro-tape rolls. I installed an INSANE amount of hair for this install! LOL I was a little out of my mind when I installed this hair. I installed 7 rows all double wefted.1 short row above the top row on each side of my head, then to boot I installed 3 rows (single wefts)across the top/back of the horseshoe area....for a total of 12 ounces of hair....WHOA. Its alot of hair. I 'thought' this hair wouldnt... View%20Post

Latest Bohyme/Protac Install
Posted: March 03 2006 at 8:05pm
Thought Id post the latest, I know all of my installs look the same...but here goes anyway! These first ones are immediately before install...no extensions! Yikes! The next ones are immediately after install, I dont like to cut before I wash. So About 10 minutes with the curling iron and they blend well enough to get me through until washing and cutting! The next ones are after washing and before layers....as you can see the do NOT blend at all before razoring in some layers. And here... View%20Post

Pro-10 Install with Protac
Posted: February 26 2006 at 7:19pm
Well I decided to try the Pro-10. I installed with Pro-tac again and I sure love the tape....It took about 2 & 1/2 hours...with lots of breaks and interruptions! So, had I stayed right at it it would have probably been an 1 & 1/2 hour install. I used 2 full packages of hair. So I guess around 8 ounces as usual for this length of hair! All of my installs look exactly the same so I didnt take any pictures! I cut the tapes in half this time. I think I like them better only using half of the... View%20Post

Bohyme/Pro-Tac Install!!!!
Posted: January 19 2006 at 4:38pm
Heres my new install with the Pro-Tac tape. I LOVE this stuff. I done this Sunday...just got around to pictures tonight after work...so pardon the worn out 'do....LOL There is nearly 8 ounces of Bohyme on my head with Pro-Tac tape. I doubled all rows with the exception of the mid level rows in the back..they are TRIPLE wefted. The bottom two rows are always the first to slip with any wefted method I use, so I didnt want to triple those! I used a little LG to bond the wefts together before taping... View%20Post

Yes you can achieve that look with Bohyme Silky Straight. But its gonna take work. Bohyme silky straight is very smooth and very sleek, and tends to lay very flat. I  wear alot of hair to get the volume that I want, so getting the rocker star hair is not hard to do. I curl my hair with a curling iron (have never mastered the hotrollers) and can generally keep the curls all day. But, the first bit of humidity/dampness/rain the curl will loosen/fall. I prefer the silky straight hair, as I love the smooth silky texture.

The bodywave has a little more body and would probably hold the curl/wave a little better, maybe a little less work to achieve the big volume. The reason I choose to wear the silky straight, rather than bodywave is that I find the silky straight has a smoother texture and is more durable hair in the long run.

Bohyme does shed. One thing that I dislike about Bohyme, but Ive come to the conclusion that for the quality of the hair and the longetivity that I get from it I will deal with the shedding. In fact, you can minimize/stop shedding with a sealer.

Thank you all so much! Would 8 oz of hair be plenty to buy? Or should I buy an extra pack? I know his and her hair goods required me to use 2 and a half packs for the Euro Wave, but I've seemd to have better luck with straight hair only using 8 oz, exactly. I was also thinking of investing in a closure piece I saw on ebonyline.com by Lord & Cliff but Im unsure if my stylist knows how to attatch a lace front closure! :( Oh well.

What length are you going for? My typical install with 22 inch Bohyme Silky Straight is 8 ounces. I like my hair thick and full, so I am even happier with more. But I generally use 8 ounces.

Also, how noticable are the tracks? Im new to the extensions kinda thing, and when I ordered from His and Hers , the tracks were invisable basically. Im wondering if Bohyme is the same?

Before you rule this out, you should ask your stylist if he/she knows how to install a closure..

If you had machine weft hair form his and her hair and you were happy with the size of the weft, you will be very happy with the size of the bohyme wefts. Bohyme machine wefts are smaller than his and her machine wefts.
If you were getting the hand-ties wefts, then they are very similar.
