QuoteReplyTopic: shrinkies.net not holding my order Posted: July 28 2007 at 4:08am
hi
ive not been on for a few month. but a couple months ago i posted that i was desperate for a weft of 614. i noticed there was a weft on shrinkies.net.
i mailed the seller since i needed international shipping and asked if this could be shipped to u.k.
seller agreed.
i then realised that the policy of shrinkies.net is that all paypal accounts must be verified.
so i asked the seller if she would hold my order until i was verified with paypal.
she emailed me back saying this was no problem she would hold my order and told me to mail her when i was verified.
so straight awa i went through the process to get verified. i was still deperate for the 614 but i thought the hassle of getting verified would be worth it when i got my hair.
as soon as i was verified about 5days later i emailed the seller to arrange for payment.
and i was then told that the weft had already been sold.
i just thought that this was bad business practice. if you say you are going to hold somehting for someone untl the verified then you should stay true to your word. especially after i had been emailing several times to say how much i wanted it.
in the end i got a weft from american dream which i am really happy with. i doubt i will buy anything on shrinkies.net in the future.

I apologize that happened. I had to look over the email we had to see where I made my mistake and I think it occurred when you said it would take a couple days to get verified. I hadn't heard back by then and what I should have done was write you to see what your progess was but I had simply forgotten. A human mistake and not done purposely by any means. A valuable lesson for me to always attempt follow up on requests.

When I get another weft of this color, I will send it on at no charge to you.

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

I really don't think its Amm's fault she doesn't carry 614, or any of the vendors. I know firsthand how HARD (bordering on impossible!) it is to buy extension hair in white-blonde, because that is the color of my hair. Most manufacturers just do NOT make it. 613 is very 'strawberry' against my natural hair.
I do know Jetset has a 614, but it is not Barbie-white blonde, it is more of a yellow-blonde, and I've heard that from others.
I do know of one ebay seller that offers #60 in Indian Remy itips for about $1.50 a tip and it is really NICE hair and will last several installs, I have it in 22 inch, and I think it may come in 18 as well, she's at 'The hair extension boutique' on ebay, email her (Sharyn) and ask about the #60 tips, she doesn't carry that color in a weft (I've already asked!)
And, I did bleach my Bohyme 22' SS last night with Feria and it turned out lovely. It is still soft and shiny, so you may want to take the plunge and color yourself. My motto is, if I screw it up, I'll just make a phony-pony out of it or some clip ins.

Gucci: I agree with you; it is hard to find #60 hair!
Do you use violet/purple shampoos/conditioners to tone your hair at all? I've noticed that once I do this once or twice, the yellow pretty much disappears and I don't have to worry about damaging my extension hair (or my real hair for that matter!). Good job though, on bleaching your Bohyme hair --- sounds like you're a pro!
