Hi, please help me with a color problem William. I am african american. My dark brown hair was dyed with "ruby rage" in the clairol textures and tones hair color line. I found the color too drying. After using this color every six weeks for several months, I went to a stylist to dye it back dark brown. She used a cocoa color in the wella line I believe. It was fine at first, but as I washed it, the red started to show through until eventually it was a warm light brown. She then went over it with a dark brown rinse because the color wasn`t dark enough. I grew tired of have to apply a rinse every two weeks. Tonight, at home I used an Italian? hair color called Elgon recommended by a stylist as "great color" in dark brown. AHHH! Now my hair is a blue black shade. What happened? What do I do now? I have read all night about One and only Colorfix, and also about washing my hair repeatedly with Prell. Please advise. I just want my hair to be a very dark brown, not witchy black.
