I have always used the Revlon curling irons. They heat up in less than 60 seconds and are very durable. It curls my hair the best compared to other curling irons.
Ok I don`t really know what a halogen curling iron is, but... I use a Conair steam iron. It heats up in 60 seconds and has a buttom where your thumb goes that you push and it steams like an iron. (There`s a water container on the front.) The steam sets the hair to make the style last and it has different temperature settings so you can make it pipin` hot or cool as a cucumber!

I bought one of those new halogen curling irons but I wasn`t impressed. The very best ones are those gold barreled ones that you can only get at beauty supply stores or on the internet. They cost a bit more but are truly worth it. They are the ones the pros use.

I need to replace my 1 1/2" barrel curling iron. Does anyone know if the new halogen curling irons are better for your hair or are all curling irons created equal. Thanks.
