no not lace its silk but they are not necessarily new but we just didn't ask about them..

i wouldn't advise that b/c the silicon cap can cause you to sweat underneath and that's not good when the hair get's damp it can cause a fungas in the hair follicles which is very painful.. and it can damage the follicles and stunt your hair growth, it can block up the pores.. they have silk top wigs that give a more realistic look and you won't need a wig cap wearing this, it eliminates the grid from the lace as well...

I know most people who use wig caps, use the nylon type caps, but has anyone tried a flesh colored latex or silicone cap underneath your lacefront?  Ya know, the type that movies stars wear to look bald?
 
I am not too excited about shaving my hairline back a bit and was hoping this would help me get away with leaving a little extra hair.  My hope is that it would also make the part look more realistic too.  Any thoughts?
 
I know it would probably be much hotter than a nylon cap, but I am really interested in looks not comfort.  Wink
 
Has anyone tried?
