Hey, I have a slightly layered chin-length bob that`s growing out far too slow, I`m desparate to be able to wear it up in a proper do, although I have a few butterfly clips I use sometimes but they are not very formal. I was on a plane the other day and the lady in the seat in front had what looked like a ponytail tied with one of those small flower ponytail bands and the ponytail twisted back up and held by a couple of kirbigrips. She also had one kirbigrip on each side but quite near the twist holding in some stray hairs. Now during the flight she must have undone her hair because when I looked up from my book I thought someone else was sitting there as there was hardly any length, maybe even a bit shorter than mine. I went straight to Claire`s Accessories after the flight and got some grips and a small flower ponytail band, and have managed to recreate the style - it`s graeat for hiding bitty layers and looks quite cool from the back with the kirbygrips and the flower `twist`. I`ve worn it to the office every day since and it looks smart enough easily. So the moral is your hair might be long enough to do stuff with and you don`t know! Sam xxx
I know what you mean. When I my hair was a little above my chin, I would wear it in a french braid (this was back in high school during my cheerleading days) and everyone was always like "I thought your hair was too short to do that."
