One more thing - I would be remiss if I didn`t mention that Karen has a nice step-by-step prom updo at:

http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip503.htm

It is put into a bun at the back of the head but it has many of the features in the style you asked about. Certainly worth a look.

Good luck!

I know I have seen this style before and thought I could go right to the book that had it. WRONG! I am confused now - must be having a senior moment.

However, I can tell you that "Dressing Long Hair Book 2" by Paterick Cameron has several styles with this type of twist in them. He shows step-by-step instructions on how to achieve them and they are very clear (not like some books I have that you have to read and reread to understand). If you don`t have either of his books, I can highly recommend both of them.

If your local bookstore doesn`t carry them, Amazon.com has book 2 for $28.67 (you can see 5 sample pages there too). They are also selling Patrick Cameron Dressing Long Hair : Book 2 with Patrick Cameron: Dressing Long Hair together for $65.62. Both are terrific books and I frequently use both of them.

Wish I could have been more help in answering your questions about that specific style but I think the Paterick Cameron books will suit your needs very nicely.

Let us know what style you choose and how it worked out. Good luck! ;)
