I am in need of a new style. I had a great cut a few years ago. The stylist used scissors to slice cut my hair. It looked great. I relocated and am now thinking of having a stylist (if I can find one) slice cut a shoulder length style. Is that still being done or was it a trend? My hair is fine and has a little natural wave in it but not consistant wave (just in a few areas). I have noticed that I have baby hairs that are growing in wavy. I used to have really straight hair. I don't go shorter than around the shoulders. What do you recommend? Also, do you know stylists in the Dallas, Texas area?

Slice cutting with scissors or razor is a technique stylist use to finishes off a cut, giving texture defining layers to the cut. If you describe your last stylists technique then your new stylist should know what your looking for.
