What kind of tape do you use on skin wefts that are not pretaped? Where can I find this at and what kind of remover do I get for them? Will these type or the remover damage my own hair in any way?

I used Pro-Tac from shrinkies.com
I used Liquid Gold remover.
If you're careful about removal (take your time) there will be no damage.

Super tape.  I have used it in the past and it holds well.  I bought it online at sultryhair.com, but I am sure you can buy it other places as well.  Although, I have yet to see it in beauty supply stores.

Super Tape or True Blue tape.  I don't like Liquid Gold, it can be too hard to get out of the hair.  For extra holding power, I use Vapon No Tape in the blue tube or Max Grafting Adhesive.

The tapes I buy from www.hairextensions101.com

The adhesives I buy from www.adventhair.com

Good luck!

Out of the two true blue tape or super tape; which one holds longer?

I wear skin wefts and tried supertape for the first time and had a HORRIBLE experience!  I cut my wefts in 2 inch pieces and tape them all over and I was losing a bunch after I showered(8-10), and my other hair kept getting caught when I tried to re-tape.  I had to take it all down after 2 weeks and reinstall.  One thing I did find that worked when I did it again with another tape is after I taped and before I installed I held the taped wefts between a flat iron to secure the tape to the weft, so far so good!

As far as taking them down I use rubbing alcohal, which after soaked real well they usually come out real easily.  For the real tricky ones I use c-22 which can be bought at hair shops online... but it is real oily so I only use it when I have to - but it works like a charm
