It obviously depends on the extent of your hair loss condition but in most cases yes it is possible to stimulate the hair to begin re-growing. Would like to suggest some natural & home remedies for re-growing of loss of hair. Pls take a look below....

* Take 4 oz of a warm carrier oil like Almond or Soybean. Add 6 drops of Bay and Lavender essential oils, Mix thoroughly. Apply to scalp and massage in, leave to absord for about 20 minutes.

do it on regular basis and see the great result.

yes it is true that your hair can regenerate within 1 year due to its natural life cycle, however you may still continue to loose hair due to your anxiety & stress levels which may result in continued hair loss. You are now adding to your stressing by worrying over your hair so it is a vicious cycle which needs to be broken. b patient tho and your hair should grow back fine in its own natural time. good luck !

Proper shampooing not only improves the look of hair but also helps slow hair loss and promote healthier hair growth.

you need to establish what the root cause of the hair loss is before you can tackle preventing it !

Hi Guys HAppy New Year to you all.  I am new on the scene and am interested in getting together with people who have hair problems like thinning hair and gray hair. I am at that stage of life when this is an issue with me. Good hair makes you feel confident.   I would like to know how others manage and copeConfused

Welcome to HairTalk....

So many things have been introduced to help with hair loss issues and gray hair.  It's always great to chat with other people who can share their experiences of what worked and didn't work.

Looking forward to your feedback on what you learn.

As a note...several of my male friends have had great luck with propecia.  There are definite issues for men who are still concerned with reproductive issues but for men who have their families set it can def slow if not stop hair loss for some and can help reverse the loss.

Would love people to share their experience with propecia.  One big side is the cost if you can't get a doc to prescribe it.

Happy New Year to all.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

My one question is - should I continue to color my hair - or go gray "gracefully"? I worry about the effects of coloring my hair every 4 weeks.
What's the general comsensus?

Why not try going gray gracefully and if you don't like the results or people around you kindly suggest you looked better before you can also go back to coloring your hair.

Gray hair can often be colored with a semi or demi perm that won't be as damaging as if you were lifting the color.

You might consider asking a haircolorist to get you started and explain you want to do touchups at home.  They can get you to a good starting point where you can do the root touchups at home and maybe go in for a color tuneup 1x or 2x a year.

George Clooney is going gray gracefully and he looks great.  However, everyone has to go with how they feel when they look in the mirror.

Good luck to you and thanks for sharing.
