Well I'm not really in a hurry quite yet, but soon I will need to start thinking of new styles for my hair. Right now it's permed loosely, and I like it...and if I can't find anything else, I'll probably end up getting it redone.

But if I can find something that I really like I might go back to my straight hair...I don't want to keep perming it, since it's pretty damaging after a while. Here are some various ways I've gotten it to look while permed...in all of these I don't do anything except put in some light gel and let it air dry. I'm a pretty low maintenance person when it comes to my hair:

That last one is the most recent so it's closest in length. As the perm has grown out I can't have my hair long anymore because the cut between the curls and the natural is too obvious, heh.

Here is what it looks like "naturally"...if I just let it air dry straight

Anyway I'm not sure what to do. My fallback plan, which is fine for me really, is to get it repermed later. Do you guys have any suggestions for some straight styles? As you can see my face is pretty full and round...I don't really care about length, but I'm trying to avoid REALLY long styles. Bangs are okay as long as I can keep them out of my eyes, I hate it when my hair gets in my way.

And I don't want anything that will take too long to fix up in the morning - being able to air dry something is perfect for me! But if I have to blow dry it to keep it styled right that's okay, as long as it doesn't require too much time.

Thanks!

Edit: Well, I've been searching on and off, and have become pretty attached to this style

It's about the length I usually have it, but it has bangs - and the type of bangs that would work with my face...do you guys think I could pull that off? I might even get some subtle lowlights put in eventually to help darken up my hair a bit.

Based on the pic of your hair when you let it air dry, I think you could rock Mandy Moore's look!

I have to say too though that your hair looks great permed!  It looks very natural.
