Good luck! And yes, the Moisture Maniac does smell heavenly, and so does the Self-Absorbed....good enough to drink! LOL. I love Biolage`s scent, though. It`s in an interesting smell. I can`t really classify it as "floral" like Herbal Essences......eek!! Talk about overpowering. :-)

I read your post on the products you tried and I think I remember using Biolage and liking it. As per your praise, I think I will try the Color Care line next! :)

I`ve thrown out products before. I think it was Joico that I had a bad reaction to. My head itched and I had major flakes upon buying and using it. I do like the tropical smell of Moisture Maniac, plus it was a birthday gift, so I feel more compelled to stick with it. I go thru conditioner at a slower rate though and wonder what I`m gonna do with a third full leftover bottle. I COULD buy a smaller bottle of the Moisture Maniac, but I`d like to try something else for a change. Biolage sounds just the thing!

Wow, I admire your determination. I have never once gone through an entire bottle of shampoo and conditioner before in my life. I`m working on Biolage Color Care and conditioning balm though! I made a promise to myself that I would not purchase another haircare product until at least the end of August.

Well, I wonder how moisturizing Moisture Maniac is in fact since every time I go in to get a cut or trim, the stylists always say, "Your hair is dry." I don`t know if it is in truth dry, or they say that to sell more products. Before I got this short cut, I had long hair that I never heat styled or blow dried. The worst I did to it is a color rinse every 2 months. I use leave-in conditioners too and every once in a while do deep conditioning. Still, even with Moisture Maniac, they claim my hair is dry. Even when it`s really greasy at the roots.

But I am determined to use these bottles all up!

Yeah, I noticed that too. I asked that same question on the naturallycurly.com hair board and mostly everybody said they hated it. Except one girl she really liked the moisture maniac condtioner which I have to agree, wasnt too bad. I want to at least try the self-absorbed conditioner...

My sister bought me these HUGE bottles of Moisture Maniac that I`m just finally getting to the bottom of the shampoo, now 8 months later!!! A hairdresser told me that it`s not a good shampoo except for bed head short hair. The only thing I`ve noticed is that my hair is limp and greasy the second day (I wash every other day) when before it wasn`t like that.

I am anxious to read other peoples` replies on this one now too...

Anybody have really good luck with these shampoos? I`ve tried the Dumb Blonde Shampoo and the Moisture Maniac shampoo and conditioner. I like the Dumb Blonde to brighten up my highlights every now and then, but the moisture maniac killed my hair. I`ve noticed that these shampoos list ammonium sulfates as one of their first ingredient. Yikes! I thought ammonium was incredibly drying. I noticed that especially with the Moisture maniac shampoo. Anybody know if ammonium strips the hair badly?? thanks
