I`m getting a new hair and want it short (almost to the shoulder), straight, and really thin looking. What techniques are there to making it look thin? I`ve tried layering it but after it grows a little it starts looking puffy at the bottom. I was thinking I could get the bottom layers shaved off. Would that work?

u can get it thinned out at the hair dressers they run these cool scissors through ure hair and then it`s thin it `s realy cool!

You don`t want really thin hair that looks ugly and sringy. Some people that have thin hair would kill to have thick pretty hair like yours. But if its just way to thick I agree with what the above says: Get it thined out!

You bet we would kill for thick hair. I would suggest going to a stylist and asking for a style that works with your texture. You are very blessed to have that kind of hair and it is always easier in the long run to work with what you have. There are many more options open to you than to those of us who were born with the kind of hair you are aspiring to.
