LEAVE THE KIT ALONE MAINLY IT WILL JUST STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR.. GET YOU A GOOD MOISTERIZER A SOFT MED AND HARD BRUSH SOME DURAGS GET YOU A FRESH CUT #2 WTG AN START BRUSHING AS OFTEN AS YOU CAN AN DURAG AND DONT SLEEP WITHOUT IT BUT HAVE PATIENCE AND AS LONG AS YOU STAY UP ON YOUR BRUSHING , MOISTERIZING, AND DURAGIN YOU'LL GET RESULTS

a kit is a mild relaxer, A perm is a relaxer.  The purpose of a "kit" aka texturizer kit is to loosen the curls of your hair, somewhat relaxing it.  It is a MILD relaxer.  A relaxer typically is used to take hair from nappy or curly to completely straight.  A texturizer is so we can get that spanish lookin curls, or get our hair to wave up easily.
Now let me explain, typically what happens.
If you already have an established wave pattern, the waves you have will get "smoother looking" and if you leave it in too long, that hair may get too straight, LOSING wave visibility.  If your hair is a nappy mess, you texturize, brush it down, you can get some quick waves.. The reason its considered cheating is you are altering your hair texture, so if you build your waves from nothing using a kit, they likely won't stay that way because when your natural hair grows back under the midly relaxed hair, it won't be the same and won't properly form the same wave pattern, and then thats when your hair gets all jacked up.

As for pics, idk, most people dont want to ADMIT they kitted and put the pics online as their own because in almost all the wave forums, texturizer kits are seen as taboo, so idk.  Rumor has it that balla pic that is up right now RicanSpinna is asking about is kitted, but nobody knows who that is, or if it is kitted or not

those are fake waves fallinsoldier, but NOT texturized waves.  and shutup novanhoj, there are fake waves, the ones in the video linked above, and there are many other techniques to get "fake" waves.  Just dont snap at people like that, its rude, not to mention immature, capish? :)Hug
