shhhhhh dont tell bhm ...i like the new look and i see more peeps are here. Anywho i have a question about cones (groan) anywho..i was told by my stylist that cones are ok to use when you flat iron bc they protect the hair and evaporate when coming into contact with heat. Anywho i know too much silicone could weigh hair down and cause it to be dry ect ect. Well i am right now using fx special effects extreme shine treatment along with chi iron guard(the sally bss version),brilliant brunet smoothing cream, garnier fructis leave in condish and a little but of suave condish and a spritz of water.
Now b4 you jump on me LOL...i know its a lot of products but thats why i asked are these too much? If so why? Is it too much silicone too much this or that? Also the water ok i use a quater size amount of suave condish with a spritz of water to make sure theres moisture in my hair after it air dried all night lol. I make sure my hair is COMPLETELY dry b4 the chi touches it. Since i only sprayed a spritz it take about 5 min so i brush my teeth and wash my face ect ect and when i get done its dry.
Anywho am i using too much product?

sorry that i dont have the answer for you... but i honestly think the best way to get an answer is by checking an active forum...and lately this forum hasnt been active... i think u should check BHM[not b/c i'm a member there] but b/c you have a higher chance of getting a quick response there
Well, as long as your hair is properly hydrated and moisturized and there is no breakage (at least no excessive breakage) then I suppose you're fine.
I use 2 products with silicone (heat protectant-only before I flat iron once a week- and anti frizz serum-everynight) after I moisturize my hair(everynight) and I haven't seen bad results yet...
I would just use a clarifying shampoo about once a month though to make sure you remove all that product build up thoroughly (i use creamy aloe shampoo by ORS)
I'm not a hair guru or anything so I do apologize if I didn't help or was way off track!
