I was a Kate Jackson hair fan, but not her Charlie's Angel layered bob. In fact, I never watched the show after I saw that Kate's long hair had been chopped off. As for Farrah, yes, her hair looked beautiful and it inspired millions of young girls and women to emulate it, but I always thought that the upkeep of her style was insane. I remember conversations between women about how this side or lock didn't come out right. Huh? No woman needs to try THAT hard to have great looking hair! The other angels' hair looked every bit as good, without so much effort.
Farrah proved to be a role model of courage in the end. She seemed like a good person who never hurt anyone, or went out of her way to involve herself in silly tabloid scandals. She was hard to dislike, and she'll be missed. Bob Clap

Farrah was the ultimate hair star. I was around in the '70s and no celebrity has ever had a greater influence that her. It makes me very sad that she's gone.

If there was no Farrah Fawcett, there might not be HairBoutique.com. We've lost an icon. RIP.
