I haven't bought any hair toys yet. Maybe I will sometime this month for my Bday!!
Also, I made a hair appointment for 3 weeks from now. My idea is to go every 16 weeks or so and get 1/4 to 1/2 inch cut off the bottom. That's the only way I'll get rid of all these crazy layers! I figure by not going very often and limiting how much I get cut, I will still see growth. Of course, if it seems that I can go longer between trims then I certainly will do that. The last time I cut was 14 weeks ago, when I had the mullet chopped off. (best decision I've made, to date!!!) So by the time I get this trim, it will be 17 weeks between trims.
For whatever reason, I've been more 'aware' of my length this week. I don't know if that will make sense to anyone or not. Like, it seems longer and more swishy.... is that a word???? lol
That sounds like an awesome plan for your hair and I cant wait to hear about ur hairtoys :) Being more aware of ur length is amazing :) thats sooo cute that its longer and more swishy lol....that is a word

Jenn, I love that darker shade of red, it is a gorgeous color! I am very impressed too, with all the layers in the front that you have gotten rid of. Good job!

Wow love the new pic. The longer style is working for you. Keep growing.

Well, here we are. My hair has officially been growing for 1 year!! Hubby took this pic for me today (Aug 1st, 2009) and looks a little wonky from sleeping on it. Can I call this shoulder yet???
I'm going to get the ends dusted today. I've decided not to take off any length until I can get my hair up in a ponytail. Then I'll start taking off 1/2" or so every 3 mos.
