QuoteReplyTopic: Need some advice Posted: September 05 2009 at 5:34pm
I'm trying to figure out what hair color and store bought brand would be best for me. I have a few grey's.. not quite 25%, more like 10%.. so that's not a really big concern.
I have Light to Medium Brown hair.. level 4 to 5 on some sites.
I would like to lighten to Dark blonde.
Any advice would be appreciated..
Thank you :-)

DO NOT USE A BOX COLOR FROM THE DRUGSTORE!!!! And getting color from Sally's is just as bad. You can order professional color from Killerstrands.com in the shopping section. Read the blog for info and download a color chart from Koleston (by Wella) in the pictures section. You really don't want to use inferior color especially when you have gray. Gray hair can be tricky and these professional colors look better, are better for the hair, and they last much, much longer. They also don't fade before the next retouch. For more info, join the killerstrands group at Google Groups. Then search for info on covering gray and which brands are the best. The person running the blog is a cosmetologist and cosmetic chemist and is brillant when it comes to color. (And so are her readers!!)
