Nothing very exciting to report with regards to celebrity hair except that there were way too many updos. I'm hoping that everyone takes a cue from Jennifer Anniston and Julia Roberts, who left their great hair down this night, when making their hairstyle selections for the next award show.  Never been a fan of the updo; leaving your hair down and styled is much better, IMHO.

Jennifer Aniston looked great, nothing new here, her look has been the same for the past 6 or 7 years.  I'm sorry, Julia Robert's hair looked like straw, frizzie, untamed and not well styled.  It was kind of like a Monet painting, great from far away, but a mess up close!  I really loved Christina Aguilera, she was really "rockin' the bob"!

Normally, I'm not a critic of Jennifer Aniston, but she had roots and that stupid strand of hair hanging out of place drove me crazy. I blamed the updos and sloppy looks on the rain. No? On a positive note, I was glad Penelope Cruz ditched those stupid short bangs she's been sporting lately. You know who I thought looked really really good? Toni Collette. She looked so sincerely happy.

Jen Aniston looked great. Never been a fan of Julia Roberts. Absolutely loved Christina's bob! Short, cute and so polished. She did rock it!

Loved Christina's bob also...probably the best of the night.  Jen has a knockout body but the rest is average in my mind.

Why does Christina's bob look so good on her?  I'm not a hairdresser, but to my untrained eye it's the right hairdo on a very pretty girl and beautifully cut.  I'll second the motion for the best of the night.

Not sure why some people seem to think roots are always a bad thing. Are we supposed to actually believe that most of the famous blonds out there REALLY ARE BLONDE?

Personally I think they can be very sexy.

Good point about the rain - that does explain a lot of the desire for up-dos.
