Just got my hair highlighted...hate it

Ok so about 2 months ago i got my hair highlighted from a basic medium brown color. I asked for all full head of foils, and i wanted the highlights to be kind of this color, with some other colors mixed in so it didnt look SO blonde:

what i got were highlights that were, idk, kinda yellow-y and almost teetering on honey blonde, kinda like this :

went home, and everyone thought it didnt look right for me. this stylist (who is actually a good friend) hadnt been doing a good job for the past couple dyes ive had so today, i decided to try somewhere else.

Went in, and said i hated the color of the highlights. I first asked if i could just not pull off blonde, and she said that i deff could. So i said that what i really wanted was a lighter blonde, more on the whitish than yellow. so she said she was going to put in some more lighter blondes, and she alternated between a few diff colors for a more natural effect.

When all was said and done, i looked in the mirror and saw almost exactly what i had before, but i do admit it looks a tad better. BUT, im kinda confused as to how its not how i wanted it. its still that honeyish color, not even close to what i want.

My question is, is it even worth going back? i got a discounted price for it so it wasnt crazy expensive at all, but would it just damage my hair if i did? and if i did go back, what else can they do, or what can i say?
