I agree with Fatmoogas. Looks great when placed just so for a magazine cover shoot, but on a woman without a stylist nearby, I suspect it would look disheveled, overgrown and in need of a new shape within about an hour.

This one bums me out. With short hair, Katie looked distinct, mature, sophisticated. She stood out. And she did a great job of trying lots of short style variations, each one pretty and noteworthy.

Now? Well, she's certainly still cute. But to me, she's stepped off her beauty pedestal, and again become cute Katie Holmes from Dawson's Creek, with hair that's nice, but also bland, shapeless, and unremarkable.

I noticed this new look too: kind of bouffant in style and not at all flattering. I think this might be the result of her recently playing the part of Jackie Kennedy whose hair looked a bit like this.

Actually it looks a mess at the moment: she needs to cut it or get it all to the same length.
