Hi all,
I a male 25 years old. I have long hair..three to four inches below my shoulders. my hair texture is not very straight, its a little frizzy and wavy and black in color (Asian Indian hair). I recently got a job.(the office looks so cool with multi cultural environment) till now, i let my hair down freely or in ponytail. I would like to get some hairstyles suggestion for my hair that looks formal, so that i can wear it for my daily office. I just don't want the same hair style worn everyday.Experimenting with my hair keeps my energy level high and it reflects in the work.. I believe.. Also send me some links and photos of those hairstyles, and steps to do those hairstyles. I could do some funny or informal hairstyles on thursdays and fridays. But the three other days i need to be very formal. Also let me know about the accessories that i need to use for those formal hairstyles and informal hairstyles. Try to send some simple hairstyles that wont require other's help to do it. Also shall i straighten my hair to have a much better look..? I am ok with feminine hairstyles too (after all any long hairstyle is considered to be feminine, thats not a big deal)...Let me know asap..Have got ten more days to join, so that i can practice well..Thank you all in advance....

I have a few styles for that length of hair on my site (link in signature). They are more feminine. Whether you straighten or not depends how long you want your hair to grow. If you want very long, straightening is not a good idea because it is very damaging (whether you use the heat method or the chemical method). If you want to keep it the length it is now, then you can trim it more, so straightening is your choice really because the damage won't add up that much.

Hi susan,
Thanks for those suggestions. I like the french braid, (but not sure whether i could do it by myself) not the bun to it. Also the style you have in the crocheted bun cover, but i am not that fond of that accessory, (Is it possible for me to add any other accessory instead of that). I also like the last bun and the last but one. Bee but bun. but i am not sure whether my hair is length is enough for that. I also like the french twist one. I will perhaps try those and post the pic. For now i tried using one simple hair style I saw it on the you tube half pony tail..I tried to click a photo, the picture is not that good... also there was a variation i could see that, it is more funky (also girly) japanese half pony tail. perhaps i could do that on fridays...I am not sure about that. thank you once again..I think i should not straighten it....
