I plan on getting my hair cut soon, and I want it short. Ideally I'd like kind of an Edie Sedgwick (very short bob) type of look. The problem is that while the rest of my body is pretty small, I have kind of a big head and pretty chubby cheeks, which I really don't want to emphasize. That being said, I'm not sure that this look would work too well for me.

My hair's about shoulder length now, and it's getting boring so I definitely want to try something new. Plus, I'm kind of a hair dye addict, so it's damaged and is in desperate need of being cut anyways.

Any thoughts on whether or not it would work? If not, does anyone have any suggestions? The style I mentioned is really just an idea. I'm not super picky, I just want my hair SHORT, I want it to be FUN, and I want it to be pretty easy to style an take care of.

Thanks much!

Hard to tell without a pic, but have you considered a pixie?

I think it'd best best to do a short bob, probably. Getting a pixie is pretty drastic and really hard to grow out (just google "growing out a pixie" and see what I mean!) and you can always go shorter if you decide it's still not exciting enough. That being said, I do LOVE the pixie! But not everyone does. Good luck!

Pixies are so hot now.  Did you see the new pixie on Ashlee Simpson?

Yes, I did! Not the best haircut because it was someone new, but I'm going back to my old stylist soon and I know he can give me something great. Thanks for the wonderful advice!
