Hey all,

I am new here.   I am a licensed cosmetologist, but I currently dont work in a salon.    I have not taken any courses on extensions, but I have played around with them.   I have put wefts in my own hair before and I loved the look of long hair on me, my problem was the cheap hair I bought.  It looked BADShocked.   So I have heard that Bohyme is a great brand.. So Im gonna give it a try.

My last extensions were very nappy and ratted quickly. I always had to carry a brush or comb with me.   They looked great over my shoulder when I could keep them combed but when they were on my bey looked nasty.
Does Bohyme extensions lay flat and pretty???

I am going to be getting probably the silky straight in a 12 or 14" in a 2 or 1B.

What is the best way to install???   I have used the glue bond before and it seems to come out within a wash or two.  I want them to last at least 4 weeks before I have to redo them.    Any suggestions??

What is the best care for them??   Shampoos or products?

Also where is the best place with the best price to get them?   I have found hair sitters that seems to have awesome prices.

How many wefts do you think I would need to look think and natural...not thin and mullety on the ends.    I have shoulder length hair.

Thanks all for you help

You could easily find answers to your questions by checking out previous posts. You can do a search through old topic by using the 'search' feature on the top right of your screen.
But let me answer a few questions quickly, as I know Bohyme pretty well. I love the silky straight texture, it is my favorite hair. It's easy to take care of, but make sure to condition generously every time you wash your hair.
Silicon serums can't hurt either.
Morocan oil works great too on damp or dry bohyme. I love this stuff.
I buy mine from ebonyline or hairsisters in general, great prices and free shipping plus some good customers coupons.
You probably weren't using remy cuticle aligned hair before, hence the crazy tangling.
Good remy hair is another thing altogether.
It is very good to use a straightening iron on your extensions too, because it helps smoothing out the hair, especially when the ends get dry after a few months, but everyone's different. I know I straighten my hair nearly every day.
How much hair you will need depends on your preference and your own hair density.
I'd say a pack should be enough, you could get two to be sure.
But honestly one pack should be fine.
Hope this help! Smile

Check out our tutorials at www.doctoredlocks.com

I would suggest a Linkies Track weave, it will last up to 3 months.

We recommend Redken or Morocan Oil products for extensions.

With the shorter lengths you will be fine with one pack. If you are going 18 I would get 2.

I have no idea about Bohyme brand, but i think hair extensions is just the same, the difference is the quality!you said the experience about wearing hair extensions, actually there are different kinds of hair extension, sadly you choose a guled-in hair extensions,my favorite is clip-in hair extensions, natural look, easy to appy,no need to wash everytime, maybe u can have a try!
