That will work for you... hair wax is ideal for the texture and the ends when styling... A bit of mousse to blow it dry... medium round brush.  Post a pic when you have it done.

They look similar. I think the biggest difference is the back of the second one is shorter

Well obviously it's up to you how short or long you would like to have your hair, but I personally think it would be worth a try. It does grow back
