This shampoo, tragically, is not one for dry hair. TEA lauryl sulfate is NOT something you want to put on parched locks, as it is drying with repeated use, much like sodium lauryl sulfate. Farther down on the list is salicylic acid, which is probably not present in large enough quantities to hurt but can also dry you out over time. Matrix really frustrates me. The majority of their shampoos contain harsh cleansers that you just shouldn't find in salon products charging a premium for what is essentially detergents and water! Biolage Hydrating shampoo is the same way: a lot of people just love it (and it smells great for sure) but few realize it uses SLS as its primary surfactant. Agh! There are products at the drugstore gentler than that!
Hope all is well on your side of the pond girl. Take care :-)

Thanks for getting back to me!!! I'm SO glad I didn't go out and buy it!!! I like the Jheri products I have right now. But I need something else for after a couple of months.
Have you ever tried the All Soft shampoos?! I have the conditioner, which is a god send!
And everything's peachy here! Hope all is well your side, darling! <3
Do I like ALL SOFT?!?!?! Everytime someone even mentions it on the boards I feel compelling to chime in about how wonderful it is. I really think it's just the smell I love. It's the only shampoo/conditioner I've used at least once a week for more than a year. Good stuff, that Redken. :-)
Glad you like the Jheri stuff. Just goes to show you don't always need to spend a load to get something you like. Take care my dear!

I've used the conditioner of All Soft tons! and I adore it, to be honest, it's one of the many conditioners when my hair was GOD awful due to bleach that helped (with a little help from Phyto products) keep it back to it's glosssy shine!
I never tried the shampoo, which is why I asked if it's good! Now you said it is, once my Jheri Redding has finished, I'm going to return to both the shampoo AND conditioner.
