Too light and too short. Both can age you. Check out some pics when it was longer and blonder and you'll still see the same face is the same, but the style offsets it...
Really, REALLY bad choice by Cameron...
3 pm is simultaneously too late and too early to start anything.

Yeah, I'm on board with the "better style, aging color" bandwagon. In that photo she looks like a young Helen Mirren or that she's prepping for the sequel, "There Used To Be Something About Mary"...

I don't think that Cameron ever had the greatest looking long hair (too processed), but I can fully understand why she was bawling after this "trim" gone wrong.
I was always under the impression that her long hair was mostly extensions - she naturally has very fine hair.
I've always liked her in a bob. She had an adorable one in the Something About Mary era, but this one is not good. Something about the layering on the bottom is not working. And there is no excuse for the color. Ugh.
Let this be a lesson: don't let your friends cut your hair.

There's something about that story I find very hard to believe. Would CD give 'a friend' hair cutting duties who was obviously totally incompetent--or wanted to deliberately embarass her friend? Maybe it's easier to believe that CD went willingly short, didn't like the result and came up with this story as a lame justification.
