QuoteReplyTopic: get rid of all my hair Posted: August 21 2003 at 4:25am
some years ago i got rid of all my hair. i used to be a professional swimmer but had to quit swimming due to a disease. fo my last race i tried to surprise all of my team mates, trainers and visitors. the best way i could reach that was to shave off ALL my hair. as you might know swimmers have off their body hair, means legs, armpits, arms and some do their pubic area too. and i shaved off my head hair too like the boys from our team did last summer. the surprise was complete, all were astonished and i didn't forget that day of my last race.
which other girl did shave her head too once in her life? did u like it? how did the people react on your new haircut? did u let your hair grow immediately or did u stay bald for a while? how did u dress being bald - like before or did u change your style?
No I have never shaved my head even though I wear my hair very short. I would consider trying it but not anytime soon.
It can look attractive on a woman but she has to have the right head shape and the right features. I have seen women that look great bald, others not so good. It depends on the woman.

turquoise girl, become more self-confident and do what you have to do! go to the next barbershop and command: 'let's get rid off the mess, cut it all off, i want it as smooth as possible'
in my opinion every women should try the smooth look at least one time in her life. afterwards she can say it fits me or it fits me not, but if you haven't tried it you will never know.....

*shrugs* Depends on your definition of "bald". One time I really screwed up on my hair, so I just cut it off with unguarded clippers. People said I'd shaved my head then, but I didn't see it that way. I think shaving involves lather and ends in a "cue-ball" shine I didn't have. Some women look great bald, but most really don't. You pretty much have to have a perfect head shape, beautiful face, and the attitude to carry it off before it'll work for you. I don't think I could do it.

I have a friend...She was always so beautiful, and she had these very exotic features. Well...one day she got fed up and she left home (she was 15). To keep the police from tracking her down by description, she shaved her head. We were all surprised, however, to find that it looked absolutely *stunning* on her. She hasn't changed it since. :) Personally, I don't think I could every get away with it. I'm not sure I'd want to, either. I already feel strange enough just putting my hair in a ponytail..hehe.
Snuggles, you look beautiful in your picture, I think you would actually look very good in a very short hairstyle. I wear my hair in a short pixie and love it!!!
As far as having a shaved head, well you are right, it's not for every woman, although on a lady like you it might work!
