It is really personal preference such as brand, texture, application type. Depending on the person they may like tape over hot or cold fusion, wefts, clip ins, glue, etc... Helps if you explain your hair type what your looking for and what you've tried. What works for me may not work for BlondeAmbition lol.

You can get valuable suggestions from salon because many salon always uses human hairs for all extensions and it will not damage your scalp. I think there was some sort of psychological thing with me and my clip in extensions.
Clip in and glue in hair extensions are the best hair extensions which you can do yourself of your own. But you can use all the hair extensions types.

If you want a brand, 1.Socap 2.Great Lengths - both are fusion method. It is very important that you find a good, experienced extension artist for the most natural look.
human hair extensions, it looks very real especially if you chose a color that matches the color of your hair. Compared to synthetic but synthetic is also good but not as good as human's. :)
