Please help me confirm, the bottom looks a little buzzed to me (shorter than she ever had it while acting in 'V') -

Checking dates on other wireimage pics, it looks like she must have gotten it done this weekend just prior to the SAG awards.  Interestingly, I think she may have done it so it would be easier to grow out. 

As you can see from some of her recent pics, due to how thick and curly her hair is, her bob seemed to be growing out more horizontally than vertically.  I think this may take away a bit of volume to give it a better shape. 
 
Yes, I know that layering could have done that too, but she apparently really liked her hair short, but is growing it out for Homeland.  This kind of lets her have her cake and eat it too...
3 pm is simultaneously too late and too early to start anything.
