Ha Ha Ha - sorry I couldn't get past the maid outfit.
Anyway, from what I could tell I think the color looks good but it sounds like you want to get some color...I would start with the caramel highlights around the face and see how it looks. I'm afraid if you go lighter you might get washed out.

I think the maid outfit is cute. Your hair looks great with the high lites in it. I would leave it alone for now. Wait a while and see how it developes.
