I used and like to cut hair and would like to talk to people who have cut someone hair or who have their hair cut by a friend or gf/bf and have fun in doing it :)

im very fortunate and my bf lets me cut his hair, and he usuely just trims the bottom of my hair for split end. but having this hair fetish is now leaving me wanting him to cut my long hair(which falls in center of butt) to just above shoulder lenght, where my now grown out bangs are. I have question , im not a small person 6`1" and some overwieght which makes my face round and i have a small double chin, what kinda hairstyles would be flattering?

Yes u can let him cut your hair but not too much ! just cuting the split end or let him do easy cut such as blunt cut. Layers, short haircut...are too difficult for beginers who r not hairdresser ! But it`s great time to cut someone hair and u will have lots of fun ! Maybe he can, starts the cut and u get it finished in a salon. What I like also is to go to the hairdresser with my gf, she likes it a lot too. Have great time in haircutting stuff !
try somthing that frames your face. Also, I wouldnt suggest cutting your hair quite that short at first, unless it grows fast. Try gradually cutting it shorter. You might not like it that short. Maybe you`ll find a length u like somewhere in between.

To those who replied and maybe wondering, I did have my bf cut my long hair up to shoulders, then a few days later went to stylist and had it cut into a shag just above shoulders. Love it and very glad i did it. The only downfall is now bf is afraid to cut or trim it........ Oh well, maybe one day Lol

I cut my wife`s hair, as she cuts mine. I started out doing basic trimming of her hair. When my wife wanted something different she would go to the stylist...later I would "follow" the cut and just trim it up. This let me get comfortable with cutting different styles. I now cut my wife`s hair all the time and have done several different styles on her. I don`t like to brag but I have gotten pretty good at it. My wife will get compliments on her hair quite often (only her and her hairdresser knows the secret)
