traci i know how you feel about the age thing. when i was 14 people thought i looked older i think it ws the teased out hair that made me look older LOL! now 29 people still think i'm in my teens. i get excited when they think i'm at least in my early 20's. reguardless if i have my hair long or short people would think i'm a lot younger then what i am.
Zzzzzzzz... Huh? Oh... Hi! Sorry I've been away for a couple days. Actually I've been away due to reasons directly related to picture #4. Details are in da journal: http://www.livejournal.com/~soopahgrover
Thanks everyone for the compliments! You are so sweet. I've never been called a cherub before. *blushes*
Erinlynn, I am 24. :) People say I look younger though. Which is odd. When I was 15, people thought I was 18. When I was 18, I was not carded at bars! @_@ Now when I hang out with my 17 year old friend, people think she's older!
Monica, I use jojoba on dry hair. :) That stuff really is liquid gold.

You are very pretty and your do look very intelectual...which of course is a compliment. I like the shirt =) Sooo, how did you pick your online name =) Your hair looks very nice too, just the right thickness and everything to be very manageable. And such a pretty shade! Now, Im not trying to offend either but you look young too...how old did you say you are?
Oh Grover, your hair is so beautiful! I love the color, and I especially like the picture of the single braid! I wish mine was that long and thick right to the very ends.
I like the Grover tee, too!

Thank you! I have been letting it grow for a loooong time.
Glad you like the jojoba oil, Mylissa. My hair is just past BSL... depends on which bra I wear!
Lyris... I mostly didn't learn anything in COM classes. It was all COM theory. I can analyze peoples' body language now! WA-hoo! Now that you mention it, Y/C separation sounds familiar. You see, my courses were too busy emphasizing us studying com theory than to spend time on the good stuff like that! Grrrr. I was probably the only one that felt this way though. Image orthicon tubes are what are in old school TVs, that luminate the blue red and green pixels. The Emmy Award is named after the nickname for the image orthicon tube. That's good trivia, I've seen it on Jeopardy and in Trivial Pursuit. It wasn't on my Millionaire quiz though. Darn.
Caramia, I like the wavy pic, too. Sadly my hair can't hold a wave anymore. It falls out within an hour, even with no combing or brushing. Even without finger combing. Just falls out. It USED to hold a curl before I started dying it at home. Grrrr.
Thanks again everybody!

I wish my hair was that length. Well, eventually...hopefully...
You have very pretty hair. I especially like the 1st picture - the one taken after you took out the braids - your waves were lovely.
Thanks for sharing your pics. If my hair ever gets long enough to where I want to show it on this board, I may have to ask you for help posting photos.
Image orthicon....okay you lost me there, although I get the 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios and European/U.S. video formats. Y/C is the separation of a composite video signal's luminance (Y) from its color (c) components.
And they say we comm majors don't learn anything!!! :-P

Must second that "gorgeous hair" !!! You're at the length I'm striving for...of course longer than that would be great....but I'd be in hair heaven if I could get to where you are right now. Currently I'm barely BSL...I'm caring for, nuturing...coaxing *HA* if you will each inch LOL Thx to you I picked up some jojoba oil...LUV IT!! Is contributing greatly to overall health of my hair.
Aww, thanks Lyris! I'll have to post my 'before' pictures so you can see how bad it looked before I started following all the advice I learned here at HB.com
What is Y/C separation?
I could explain to you about image orthicon tubes and aspect ratio and PAL vs. NTSC...

Yay, it worked! You look just like someone I knew in college (that is a compliment!) The glasses give you a very intelligent look, like you're going to describe Y/C separation to me (that is ALL I remember from my TV prod class.)
Oh yeah, and your hair is gorgeous. 'Course you already knew that, yada yada :-)

SORRY! I suck.
