I`m getting fed up with wearing bangs for nearly all my life and I`ve decided that I want to grow them out....problem is, I have a round face shape and I don`t want my forehead to take over the rest of my face? Anybody have any suggestions on how to minimize the appearance of the forehead? I appreciate any suggestions.

Personally, I love bangs on women but since I won`t be able to talk you out of letting your bangs grow out...make sure you have a side part with a round face. You might want to consider have longer bangs that are swept to the side to camouflage your fprehead.

Try growing your bangs to our cheel bone or so. Then go to your hairstylist and tell him/her that you want your bangs to gradually fade back into the rest of your hair. Also, you could grow them out then, if they`re not thin cut more of your hair next to your bangs, to make them be your bangs too. Then they will cover your forhead more. Im sure not many people will notice, if you have a big forhead. I used to have bangs and i had to get up every morning and curl them under, having long bangs are so much easier to take care of. How old are you? If your a teenager, having bangs covers your forhead and causes no air to get to it, which makes skin oily. Having bangs can cause pimples! When i had bangs, the air not getting to my forhead and the hairspray i used everyday made me get pimples and Im scarred for life now! so....i say grow `em out. lol. Hope I helped ya.

i think that it would be a good ida to grow them out to about the bottoms of your earlobe, then maybe you could get it layered up to there. so that you can always tuck your hair behind your ears, but also leave it untucked and have some of it along the sides of your face so that the hair takes away the size of your forehead gradually

Hi, I am 14 and i am going through the same problem that you are going through. I have had bangs as long as I can remember and i am so tired of them. I want to grow my bangs out too. But, I don`t want my forhead to be the main feature of my face. So what I have done is look at hair magizines and see girls that have a larger forhead and see what they do with their hair. I also go to hair salons just to look at their pictures in their hair magizines. One tip that is really helpfull when I brush my bangs to the side is that I have my eyebrows as high as they will go to cut off some of my forhead(if that makes any sence!). When i was in middle school i had pimples on my forhead all the time but I also had very heavy bangs then. Now I have thinner bangs that allow air to go through them plus I use a pimple cream(clearasil maximum strength that gets rid of pimples in 2-3 days) that helps also. So, I wish you good luck on growing your bangs out and i hope that I was helpful. P.S. Remember that you are not alone, I know alot of girls that have this same problem. Plus Whenever I brush my bangs to the side I have never had anyone tell me that i have a big forhead. Most likely no one will notice because they don`t stare at you constantly, on the other hand you probally look at yourself all the time in the mirror like I do so you notice every little flaw. But other people don`t, unless you have a HUGE pimple or something(just kidding). Well i will stop typing now. I have already typed enough. LOL! email me any time and tell me how it go`s with the whole bangs thing o.k.! THANKS!

I`m 14 and have the same problem!! I have had bang all of my life! at the moment i`m growing out half of my bangs so that i have just a thin layer of bangs(they where so thick befoer and a pain in the a$$)! if i where u i would grow out almost all of ur bangs and just keep a very thin layer adn then some days when ur sick of ur bangs u can pull them back with clips or w/e and then some days u cna have bangs when u want, that what i`m doing, cuz some styles i look better without bang and some styles look better with bangs! i personally think i have a bonus cuz i can do way more styles and looks then people without bangs! lol nobody ever knows if i`m going to have my bangs down or up each day lol! Its a surprise lol!!!!
