Long Hair.Sudden Hair Loss?

Hi, I'm Brandi. I've been growing my hair for 5 years and it's waist length now. Recenty my hair started to fall out more than usual. I can run my fingers though my hair and pull out about 15 hairs at a time. All of this hair is falling out at the root.I notice that there are sharp bends in the hair.This has been happening for about two months. And about 4 months ago I moved overseas from America. I was thinking maybe the water wasn't clean or something. But the water here seems more clean than the water at America.When I wash it, thats when it fall out the most. And for the most part, my hair is healthy. I was wondering if anyone has expericed anything like this before or could have some idea what could be causing this. And if so please let me know.
